Making Dolls Dangerous

Oil pastel on 9"x12" sketch book paper. I had not done anything in oil pastel for awhile and thought I should try my hand at them again. I was going to do something simpler..., but somehow I ended up with this.

He placed his hand on the doll and gazed down at her. Humans with their staring but unmoving dolls would never imagine that his sorceress doll wasn't pretending to be a magical girl!
