Hello, everyone! I hope winter is going fine for you all.
Unfortunately, I find myself sinking further and further into hardship this winter. I am having difficulty paying my bills and in addition to that cost, I have some pipes that need to be fixed around the toilet. I have been trying to cut some of the bill costs by keeping the electricity off where I am able. I have been applying to various jobs in my area, but unfortunately, some of them are places I must drive too and spend money for gas. So far, I have not heard back from any of the jobs I have applied to, so I'm starting to get stressed. There is some hope for me though because...
I am open for commissions, I am selling original art and I have opened a Patreon site. Even if you aren't interested in buying an original or commissioning me, you can support me on Patreon for as little as $1. Even $1 can help me out a little bit since that can help me continue job hunting at the very least. I was raised on a farm in a conservative family, so I don't like having to ask for help like this. But times are getting hard, and whether you buy from me or donate on my Patreon, you will be getting something back in exchange for supporting me. Please help me out!

  My Patreon account: www.patreon.com/VoiceInForestS…
For those of you unfamiliar with Patreon, it works something like this: You'll be seeing art much like here in Deviant Art, but you also get rewards based on how much you donate to the artist. If you donate $3 to me, for example, you get to see some works in progress, previews of what's coming next and a video tutorial. There will also be exclusive images to Patreon that only those who have donated can see. You can sign up for one of the reward tiers where you donate $1, $3, $5, $10 or $20 and receive the rewards over the course of the month. If you aren't interested in the rewards, it is also possible to only donate and not sign up for the rewards. You can sign up only once or multiple times; the site lets you decide. You are charged at the beginning of each month you sign on for. After that, you can kick back and check in a few times a week to see your rewards.

  Information about commissions:
How it works: 1) send me a detailed note about what you would like from me. If you have reference photos, send those along too. The more detail you can give, the better.
  2) I will let you know if I can do it or not (most likely the answer will always be yes, but there may be a few things that I am uncomfortable with that I won't be willing to do.)
  3) Pay me either through etsy www.etsy.com/shop/FaeVoiceofFantasy (preferred) or paypal. Once I receive payment, I will begin working.
  4) Depending on the item's size and what medium I use, your item will ship to you somewhere between 1-6 weeks. You will receive a tracking number from me enabling you to keep track of your item
Please check out this journal for rules and conditions: Opening For CommissionsHi, everyone! I am in some financial difficulty, so I am opening commissions. Please read everything in this journal and send notes with any questions.
Please describe to me what you want with as much detail as you possibly can. Make sure you read through this journal and understand all the rules, pricing and payment. If anything is unclear, feel free to send me a note.
Rules:
1) I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason (see the list of what I will or won't do below. If I do refuse, which is unlikely, I will tell you why)
2) First come, first served. I will try to finish your commissions as quickly as possible. But life happens sometimes. And art cannot be rushed. Please expect to wait up to a month for me to finish your commission. (I promise I will try to be quicker than that) I have the right to extend the time it takes me to work on a commission especially if I have a long list of people who want commissions or I should become ill or injured (I will inform you

I'm in the same miserable boat I'm afraid... One thing I don't have to deal with is the cost of repairs because the housing company do that... Ugh... Life!

I'm sorry to hear that. That's pretty nice that the housing company takes care of repairs. Here's hoping things will get better for us soon!
